Commitment to the environment

At Porta Hotel Antigua we are committed to the care and conservation of our environment and we invite you to contribute to this cause. In your room you may leave the towels on the shelf if you if you wish to reuse them o leave them on the floor so they will be changed. By doing this, you are contributing to a daily reduction in use of water, detergent and energy consumption.

Concierge

Located in the Lobby, available to answer any questions regarding hotel services or city information daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Correspondence and deliveries*

For service, leave correspondence at Front Desk. Mail or deliveries for guests is received at the Front Desk and delivered to the guest.

Wireless Internet*

Available in all public areas and rooms. Contact Front Desk.

Store*

Stocked with basic necessity articles and a line of fine jewelry. Located next to the El Conquistador bar. Open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Transportation in the city*

Taxis available 24 hours; horse-drawn carriages, bicycles, motorcycle –taxis available in limited schedules. Contact Front Desk for more information.

Airport Shuttles*

Service available to and from the airport in Guatemala City. Prior reservation at Front Desk is required.

Recreation

Kid's Club

Open Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. We have qualified staff to entertain little ones while you enjoy our facilities. We also have a playground in the garden.

Pools and gardens

We offer two solar heated pools. The one in the main building has an area for children. There is a second pool in the annex, passing through the tunnel. We do not have lifeguards on duty; you enjoy the pool at your own risk. Swimsuit is required. Open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Enjoy a large variety of trees, plants, flowers and tropical birds. Admire the parrots and macaws but please do not feed them, they have a special diet. Do not allow children to approach them too closely or to try to touch them.

Reading room

Located at the entrance of the annex; warm environment and variety of reading materials available.

Tennis and golf*

Courts available at private clubs. Contact Front Desk for more information.

Tours*

There is a countless number of places to visit. A la Carta Tours in the hotel Lobby, offers a wide variety of options that include guided thematic relaxing walks to thrilling canopy tours.
